Who is responsible for customs?

In most cases, the customer is responsible for customs clearance and any related costs, including import duties and taxes. Customs authorities or the shipping carrier will usually contact you directly regarding these charges. If you haven’t received any notification, we recommend reaching out to the carrier or your local customs office for more information.

Please note that customs fees are not included in the product price, and import rules may vary depending on the destination country. We strongly recommend reviewing your country’s import regulations before placing an order.

However, please keep in mind that most of our shipments consist of low-priced items, which are typically below the customs threshold and therefore are not subject to customs duties or import taxes in many countries.

Important exceptions:

  • For orders shipped to the United States, Alerio Print takes care of all customs procedures. No additional customs fees or duties will be charged upon delivery.
  • For orders shipped to the United Kingdom with Royal Mail, all applicable taxes are already paid. No additional customs fees or duties will be charged upon delivery.
